A new Maintenance Release dated 03/12/2024 has been released for PowerChurch Plus Version 14.

The update will automatically download and install, but you can trigger the download by going to Help > Download Maintenance Release. You can also manually download and install the Maintenance Release by visiting https://www.powerchurch.com/mr.

PowerChurch Online servers will be updated automatically overnight with both the 3/6 and 3/12 Maintenance Releases. For PowerChurch Online users, no further action needs to be taken.

This Maintenance Release includes the following:

General

• An updated system component can cause the Maintenance Release updater to error with "ONODE is not an object". In the event of this error, manually download and install the Maintenance Release from https://www.powerchurch.com/mr or contact support
• Google Calendar API updated

I am having trouble with updating the maintenance release. I downloaded it from your link, but still could not get it to install. How do I contact support?

If you downloaded from the Maintenance Release download page, make sure you put the MR in the x:\Powerchurch\PCPLUS14 directory (where X: is the drive you have have Powerchurch installed).

The next time you start Powerchurch, it should be recognized as new and ask you if you want to installed. If not, head to that directory, and double click on the pcp14mr.exe file to kick off the update.

Thank you Neil, I did that and got the message background app does not exist...
I am also waiting for help from support.

That's a new one. Here's one more thing to try.

Do a RESTART .. note not a reboot, but a RESTART of the computer, then try again. Sometimes there are .DLLs in memory that need to be cleared out. A reboot does not clear memory, a restart does.

Thank you! Support found the problem. I needed to shut down Power Church first.
