v10 Maintenance Release dated 5-9-2008 now available!

Post by Zephyr »

Here are some of the issues that have been corrected in this Maintenance Release:

The "current accounts payable invoices" section on the PowerChurch Today screen was not including released repeating invoices, only manually added ones.

The user name field length for e-mail authentication was not uniform from one module to the next.

If you entered an invoice in Accounts Payable, printed a check, then added additional lines of distribution to the invoice, voiding that check would only reverse the original distribution and not the additional lines that were added after printing the check.

The web address for Vanco Services in the Import Contributions help screen was incorrect.

It was possible to add a repeating contribution to a fund or envelope number that didn't exist.

Additional details have been added to the Introduction step of the Import Contributions screen.

It was possible to use reassign options in Contributions to reassign an envelope number or fund number to a negative number.

Long church names would be incomplete on the Pledge Statement report and the opening startup splash screen.

Changing an envelope number in Membership would not correctly update any repeating contributions that existed for that envelope number.

On the History tab of the Maintain Vendor Records screen, clicking on the different column headers would not properly resort the information displayed.

A "file must be opened exclusively" error message would come up if an attempt was made to open the Manual Check screen in Payroll when the Maintain Employee Pay Items screen was already open.

The "non-pledging contributors" mail merge option in Contributions was only selecting individuals that did not have a pledge exactly matching the date range you entered. It should have selected any individuals that that do not have an active pledge anywhere in the date range.

Support has been added for the new "intelligent mail barcodes" on mailing labels.

It was possible to remove an account from a fund even when it was used in the setup of a donor restriction.

The fund number field under Maintain Pledges/Pledge Detail was only large enough for a four-digit number. Fund numbers can be five digits long.

It was not possible to make a backup to a networked computer unless there was a mapped network drive available.

Alternate phone numbers would not be included on the Church Directory report even though alternate addresses were appearing correctly.

The program will no longer automatically update the "adult" flag under Personal Profiles if the birth date is in the future.

Giving a user full access to Activities and Skills would not give them full access to add, change or delete under the Maintain List of Attenders screen.

The reassign a fund number option in Contributions would not update defined repeating contributions.

If the My Documents folder does not exist, attempting to attach a file to an outgoing bulk e-mail message would cause an "invalid path or file name" error.

If you deleted the 0 to 0 range when running the Contribution Range Report, it could not be added back.

Attempting to print labels in Contributions for selected pledges and sorting by envelope number would cause a "variable 'ssort' not found" error message.

Several grammatical and spelling errors were corrected.
