A new Maintenance Release dated 01/21/2026 has been released for PowerChurch Plus Version 15.

The update will automatically download and install, but you can trigger the download by going to Help > Download Maintenance Release. You can also manually download and install the Maintenance Release by visiting https://www.powerchurch.com/mr.

PowerChurch Online servers will be updated automatically overnight. For PowerChurch Online users, no further action needs to be taken.

This Maintenance Release includes the following:

Accounts Payable

• E-filed 1099s aren't including vendor email addresses

Payroll

• W2s should not be combined for employees with no SSN
• Edit Box 14 on W2 can error with corrupted XML data

When I try to install the MR, I get this error:

"Download validation failed with the following:
We were unable to find that version registered for this church."

Any ideas? I went through the register routine (even though I've been using PC+ under the same name for years) and I still get the same error.

I just checked and everything is showing as it should be in that database, so if your Registration Number/RN is correct in the software, then it should pass the validation.

This happened after I upgraded to 15. And it is still doing it.

Also, am I correct that macros I had in 14.4 do not move to 15? That seems to be the case.

Well, all of a sudden it's working. Go figure.
Still curious about the macro thing.

I have confirmed that the macros aren't being copied over in the upgrade and have written up a bug report.

The macros are stored in a file called PC.FKY which lives in the program directory (by default C:\PowerChurch\PCPLUS##\). Copy that file over from the old version into the new.
