Equipment inventory

Post by John Dykema »

I really got burned today. I wanted to do delete a record of a particular PC. It displayed all of the PC's in that category, I highlighted the one I wanted and clicked the Delete button. It said "Are you sure you want to delete this item?" I thought, yes and clicked it. Bam! all my pc's were gone. I then noticed the Delete-Item button on the bottom of the screen. Right, I should have used that one instead.
I'd like to make a request to have a change made in your next Maintenance Release, when clicking the upper Delete button, to say "Are you sure you want to delete ALL items in this Description?" (or some such thing). The key word here is "ALL". Maybe just changing the wording on the button would do the trick, such as Add Description Group, or Delete Description Group,....
This would make it real clear to the operator what they're in for.
Thanks.
We are using PC+ v.11 with the latest upgrades, Win XP Pro, and 5 networked pc's.
