Reversed Posted Transactions
Help! I was just looking at a posted transaction and hit the Reverse key instead of the Filter key. What is the easiest way now to reverse the reversed? Thanks!
Re: Reversed Posted Transactions
Did you "post" the reverse transaction? If not you should be able to "modify unposted transactions" and delete the reversal. If you did post it, you will have to enter the original transaction again.

This is mostly correct, however, you also need to edit the original posted transaction comments/notes to remove the notation that is added showing it was reversed.jwdick wrote:Did you "post" the reverse transaction? However, if you did post that transaction, you can reverse the reversal, then post it. That said, I would definitely include as MUCH detail as possible as why the reversal of the reversal was made.

How do you edit the original posted transactions comments/notes after it has been posted?NeilZ wrote:

Okay, went back and played with one of my reversals and now see how to edit the comments. This will definitely help me remember months from now when I may need to know what I did. Thanks Neil!
