Getting list of calendars failed

Post by DSelzle »

I am trying to 'Remove synced events from Google Calendar', but it gives me a message saying, "Getting the list of calendars failed".
Can you help?

This is an error with the Google sync process. Were you able to update the calendar previously? Try adding an event called test which you can delete later to see if you can update your Google calendar. Let us know what happens.

Have you recently changed your Gmail address or changed the password on that account? It may just be that the account needs to be re-authorized. Go to File > Preferences > Events Setup. Click on the Google Calendar tab and enter a new address in the Login E-mail Account field. It doesn't matter what e-mail address you use there, as next time you sync, it will pop up the prompt for you to authorize the account.

Log in to your existing Gmail account and complete the authorization process again as detailed here:
