*** I searched the forum topics and could not find an answer for this question, so that is why I am bumping a relevant thread.***

v11.55 user running Windows 10 Pro. I have a standard installation of PowerChurch with directory being is C:\PowerChurch\PCPlus115. I had been manually backing up PowerChurch using the "All files..." option and I see a new "PCBACKUP_xxxxxxx_xxxx.zip" generate in the target backup folder each time. However, Windows Task Scheduler is not creating backups despite my following instructions to the letter within this tutorial:
https://www.powerchurch.com/support/438 ... -fall-2014

I even double-clicked the pcbackup115.exe manually (and opened it to "run as administrator") but it doesn't create a correlating .zip file in the target folder. Any help is appreciated. I don't want to manually backup files anymore!

A few questions :
1. Did you set up the 'target' directory in Powerchurch under Files -> Preferences -> System Setup -> Backup tab?
2. Did you set the task up to use an account with admin privilages in Task Scheduler?
3. Did you try running the task in Task Scheduler as a test?
4. Do you see a PCBACKUP.LOG file in the \Powerchurch\PCPLUS115 directory?

Dear NeilZ,

Thank you kindly for the reply. I changed the target directory in System Setup Options to a different folder and it now works!

Great. The usual problem is that the target directory is not set to the proper directory, which is usually x:\Powerchurch\PCPLUSZZ (where 'X' is the drive where PCPlus is installed, and ZZ is the version number).
