In a similar situation we have two users one user will be restricted to the membership data while the other user will have access to the financial and membership data. However I do not see how it is possible to link to two users onto one shared network folder with out having to restore and override the data. This is what happens computer one (accounting) has user one profile and computer two(membership) has user two profile. If I do a back up on user one to the network share and restore it to user two computer the user one profile is all that is visible and user two profile is gone. :shock:

You would actually need to follow the networking guidelines set forth in this Knowledge Base article:

If the computers are not connected or accessible to each other on a network, you will unfortunately have to keep doing the Backup & Restore process.
