Bring back deleted data

Is it possible to undelete deleted data? Alll of our 2008 data was deleted (by mistake they tell me).
My data entry person inadvertently deleted all of our 2008 data. We use version 10. I need to know if there is a way to undelete deleted data?

Someone more technical than I may have more help to offer, but the first thought that comes to mind is... have you tried restoring the most recent backup prior to the deletion?

A technician called and help me work through it.
