There is no way to automate the built-in Powerchurch backup. What we do in my church is use normal backup software to do weekly full, and daily incremental backups to an networked hard drive.

As a rule, we do a Powerchurch backup at least weekly. This, along with the daily backup routine gives us plenty of data protection.
