I'm not really sure what to tell you. We did not do anything on purpose to lock out updates and I can't find anything on MSDN that says there should be a problem. You might want to try to update your version of MDAC. It doesn't seem to be directly related, but I found 1 article that suggested that as a solution for something similar. Here is the link to that article. http://support.microsoft.com/default.as ... -us;195907 I believe the current version of MDAC is 2.8.

Also make sure you are using the latest VFP ODBC driver. It can be downloaded here. http://msdn.microsoft.com/vfoxpro/downl ... fault.aspx

If you can, you also might try getting at the data through OLE DB rather that ODBC. Microsoft has said they are not going to update the VFP ODBC driver anymore and instead are encouraging people to use the OLE DB provider.
