How do we enter locations for events that are not in our church building? We have a number of mid week studies that meet in people's home rather than at the church?

I'm assuming you want to do this in order that it will update the Google calendar ??

I would just put that data in the description, unless you want to create special 'Room Type' for this. You can do this easily by adding a new room from the Maintain Rooms selection in the Events menu.

Enter a description:

John Smiths House

You can leave the Room # blank.

Then go to the Type pull down and select Add New Code. You can then add a code of Member's Home (or anything that makes sense to you). This will then be available if you want to add a study at Jack Jones house.

FWIW ... if you are syncing to Google calendar, you don't want to put any more data that that (address and/or phone) as this data can be culled and used for nefarious actions ;)
