In utilities>backup, I have done a backup onto a cd-rw disk (Drive letter G:)

Now, when I pull up the backup drive letter list, it shows only disk drive A:

If I pull up the Restore drive letter list, is shows A: F: G:

WHy doesn't PC9 show drive letters F: and G: (CD-RW-capable drive letters) as available for backup..
This happened in original PC9, and still happens w/the Maintenance Release I just applied.

(Help. I've fallen and I can't get up)

Hmmmm. I little more digging on this forum and I discovered a (broken) link to something referred to as FORCEASPI.

I searched SUPPORT, and located an article about 8.5 and what this could do to help.

The ASPICHK showed me that the ASPI drivers on my ME box were update just a few weeks ago, by our installing Norton Systemworks (which we got for the antivirus stuff).

Anyway, FORCEASPI got my drivers hooked back up, and I am a-backin up like crazy now.
