We are having a problem with the backup feature of the software.

We downloaded the most recent maintenance release (now we have version 11.1 and Windows 7 operating system). After the download, we attempted to backup (data only) to a USB drive. However, we were unsuccessful and the following "DynaZIP ZIP Error" appears -

Could not create output file (F:/PCBACKUP_20110904_1511ADF.ZIP)

We have used this same process very successfully prior to the download of the maintenance release.

Can anyone help?

We also have the August 30th update, and have not had a problem saving a backup.

Is the USB stick inserted before the the program is started and recognized by Win7 ?? Does the user have permissions to create/change files on the external drives ??

I'm trying to think of other issues that could cause this problem. Have you tried saving to a recordable CD ??

Some of USB sticks have a write protect switch on them, make sure that it has not been switched to prevent any writing to it.
