Backup onto external hard drive

Post by stepheneu »

I noticed that my external hard drive (WD Passport) is not showing as an available drive for backup? What can I do to fix this?
Thanks,
Stephen

I have power church plus version 9 and only have the option to back up to cd. Is there any way that I can fix this?

In Versions 10 and higher, you can backup to any location on the computer. Unfortunately, that was not the case in Version 9. The cost of upgrading to the latest, Version 11.5, is $149 (+10 shipping).

I have Version 10 of PCP and my external hard drive (WD Passport) is not showing as an available drive for backup? What do I need to do?

Do you have the latest MR for v10.4 .. the last one is dated 01/09/2012.

V10.4 allows for backup to a Folder, you should see that option as one of the drives listed. Using that option you can browse to the USB hard drive and save to a folder there.
