We have PCP10 and work on Windows XP.
Someone is trying to print a church directory but the Family Name keeps including a deceased person who is no longer part of the Family Name.
For example: "Jane Doe" & "Mary Smith" were sisters in the same household. "Mary Smith" died recently so she is marked Deceased in her personal record and is untagged to not appear on any reports. Her sister "Jane Doe" is still very much alive and I have modified the Household Name to read "Jane Doe" as opposed to the previously used "Jane Doe & Mary Smith."
I have checked all records of these 2 ladies that I can think of- Household, Personal (for each), and Integrated Record- and the records all look fine. However, when we go to print a church directory it still says "Smith, Mary & Jane Doe."
Any ideas??
Directory- Family Name includes deceased person

Ok, I think I figured this out.
Actually, I figured out how to get the Directory to not show a deceased person (change the search criteria, duh I knew that) but I still don't understand why a deceased household member's name is showing up as part of the household name.
Basically, someone wants a church directory but was searching for ALL records. When I asked the directory to show only Active members the deceased household member's name no longer shows up.
Any idea why the household name is including names of multiple household members (even those who are deceased)? Other household names do not appear to be including names of all their household members (living or otherwise).

The Church Directory report does not use the "Household Key" names. We are referencing the names from Personal Profiles.
Since both sisters were included in the report, and they are apparently the Directory Sequence 1 & 2 of the family (look at the Integrated Data Entry > Family Members tab) we are interpreting them as the "adults" or "parents" of the household on the report, so their names are shown in bold at the top of the family listing.
When you removed the Personal Status code of "Deceased" from your selection criteria, we now only have the surviving sister to display on the top line of the family.
