I would like to be able to send an email to those who are absent. Is there a way to do that through the attendance records and data without printing a report and going to each person individually to send an email.

I would like to be able to send an email to those who are absent. Is there a way to do that through the attendance records and data without printing a report and going to each person individually to send an email.

There are two ways to do this:

1: create a Custom Report to extract the absentee's email address to a file, then copy and paste from the file to your computer's Email Program (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc).

I would not copy to the TO block, but create a BCC block so that everyone's email address is not duplicated in every email.

2: get the absentee report, TAG each personal profile, then using the send email to a group function of personal profiles, select TAGGED as the selection criterea.
