Best Attendance Report for Actual Data

Post by fpchurch »

Can someone suggest the best report to get the actual numbers for attendance each week for a defined range of dates? I am looking to get the number of SS students for each Sunday from September to May. I have entered the weekly attendance weekly I can't find a report that gives me actual numbers. I find 1 that gives details of individuals and others that give statistical data. The numbers in the reports do not match what I count. Can anyone help? Thanks, Nancy

Have you looked at the Activity Statistics Summary?

Yes but the numbers don't match when I run that, it's like its giving me an average instead of the actual number. Maybe I'm doing something wrong when I run it but it doesn't add up.

It should be giving you rows of dates for an activity and in the columns for each row:
a count of names in the activity
How many were marked as present on a given date
How many were marked as absent
How many were marked as excused
And last is an other column.

So in the present column should be your number for how many were there on a given date. If you aren't getting numbers you expect, you might want to look closer at the activity to make sure the right people are members of that activity as well as you have entered the attendance correctly for a particular date.
