If I remember right, MailChimp is a website based email program. I think the only integration would be an exported file from Powerchurch using the Other Output -> Export Data function. You would need to figure out what MailChimp would need to import, then tailor the Export Data function to pull that data into a CSV file for import.

The question would be, why?? Since Powerchurch has a fairly powerful mass email functionality built-in.

There are several reasons for using external system. 1: It gives you stats about who opens our e mails, it processes "unsubscribe" and other features, which allows us to keep our PowerChurch Database clean. Also we use MailChimp so newcomers of the visitors do not clog up our PowerChurch database.
2: We have had a problem with Powerchurch e mail system not delivering e mails to people with Bellsouth.net account. I was not involved with the technical details so I am not sure what were the technical issues.
Thanks for the suggestion, I will look into it.

Here here!! PowerChurch already made an integration for Constant Contact in a previous version, but MailChimp is a much superior product for this purpose. I would be all in favor of a MailChimp integration!!!!

I was just told that I need to stop using our Power Church email to send out a mass announcement to our congregation because it doesn't include the "unsubscribe" feature with it and is therefore not legal. Does anyone know if this is true? Or If there is a way to include the "unsubscribe" feature?

Not quite true. It may not have an automatic 'unsubscribe' because it is not a 'listserv' program, nor is it a mailing list program in the commerical sense.

However, if you're sending emails using the email address for the office, all you need to do is add a note at the bottom that says:
If you no longer wish to receive emails from My Local Church, please reply to this email explaining that you would like to be removed.
Then the office staff would open Powerchurch, go to the Mailing List and/or Personal Profile and remove the checkmark from the Include in Bulk Mailings options.

As was mentioned above, there is no direct export to Mailchimp, as I mentioned:
