Corporate donor

Post by rmorisset »

Hi everyone,

I am an inexperienced user of PC11.5 and was wondering if anyone knew the best way of adding corporate donors in PC. I have used other software which have a check box to identify entry as an "organization" in lieu of an "individual". I have also used "Inc" as the last name, but I think that this is a rudimentary method. At the end of the day, I do understand that an envelop number would still be required to track the donations.

Regards,

Richard M.

As the software was designed for churches, it has no provision for corporate donors, since most contributors to churches are individuals.

The easiest way to handle this is basically the way you're doing it.

I usually use first name and last name, such as: First name: Acme Last name: Industries.

That said, you could setup one of the special codes for use on the Family Mailing List Other Information tab if you really need to differentiate donors.

Using PC+ since 1999.
