Add Individual Not in a Family

Is there a way to add an individual that is not a part of a family?

Primary example, we have youth in our youth group who we know nothing about the parents.

2nd Example, a single adult.

How is the best way to handle this?

Same way you would add a family:

Use the Add Family Assistant, and enter the individual as a separate family. The wizard will create the mailing list & personal profiles. Not sure what you have setup for Mailing Categories & Personal Profiles, but you would use those profiles.
