adding a child as the only family member

Surely the answer to my question must be included in this forum but have not found. When a child or children are added as a new family and there are no parents to add as adults, is there any way to set up other than having to enter an adult last name which may not be known. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what you are asking. You would enter this the same way you would enter any single person, either use the Add Family Assistant which creates the Mailing List and Personal Profile records for you, or by individually adding the Mailing List Record, then adding a Personal Profile to it.

I guess what was throwing me off was the add family screen asked for the names of adults and there was no adult to put there since the child was a minor. Thanks.
