How do I remove a name from the fast data entry list for recording attendance?
I've tried removing from Activities and also Membership/Attendance/Maintain List of Attendees and deleted from this point and they still remain on the list. I can't seem to take them off the list! Please help!
There's an "add" button but not a "delete" button on Fast Data Entry!

Here's an easy & fast way to do this. I'm assuming you're using v11.1/11.55:

Find the person's Personal Profile, head to the Activities tab, find the activity in that list, highlight it, and click on the RED 'minus' sign.

Neil's method will keep them from showing when recording new dates off attendance. It sounds though you want to remove them from a date that you have already recorded attendance for.

Here is what I expect has happened.

• You started recording attendance for a date example 2/1/2015
• Realized a person on the attendance list should not be in that activity.
• Closed out of the attendance entry screen
• Removed the person from the activity
• Returned to the attendance entry screen
• The person is still listed there to record attendance

Removing the person from the activity will keep them off of future attendance entry. In this case though you already started entering attendance for the data so the attendance records are already in place.

In this case if you go the persons profile record, you can delete the attendance information there and that will just remove their attendance on that date.

Note there are 2 modes for attendance information on the profile screen. The default is a timeline showing when someone attended. In the top left there will be a button that looks like a spreadsheet. Click that to see a detail list of attendance for that person. You can remove individual attendance records in this view.
