I would like to put our Church Directory Online. I know I can do this creating a PDF document, but is there any other way to do this that would make navigation easier?

You may want to look into One Body Hosting, https://www.powerchurch.com/products/onebody/

This allows you to upload the member information, update it regularly, and so on. You can set it up as a link from your current website. Other than that, or PDF, I haven't heard of anything easily integrated into a website.

On top of that, you'll have to think about security of the information, what type of access you would need to provide to members, and how to insure that only members have that access, etc, etc.
