Problem with Birthday/Anniversary Report

Post by jacksborofirst »

When generating a birthday anniversary report after last maintenance release, only 1 name appears for anniversaries. This has never been a problem before. Help.

By one name, do you mean only one spouse ?? Are you sure that both spouses have dates in the anniversary date??

AFAIK, this report has not been touched in a few years.

BTW .. its always better to create a new topic, than to add a post to a topic that is over six months old, especially since the topic you first posted in was an entirely different issue. :)

Again, this report has not been touched in a long time. There's a new MR out since you first posted this so there are a few things you should try.

1. Install the new MR.
2. Reindex the database
3. Try the report. If you still experience the same issue, then come back with the following info:

What is the reporting period set to, what personal statuses you've selected and what marital status you have selected.

I am also having a problem with the Birthdays & Anniversaries report. The database seems to pull data based on whether the anniversary is within the current calendar month or not.

Also, sometimes birthdays and anniversaries are missing, and when I look for them, their records show that B&As have been entered into the PERSONAL PROFILE. I cannot find a rhyme or reason for that. I am using the All setting for PERSONAL STATUS and All for MARITAL STATUS.

I am using SCREEN PREVIEW.

The following settings for the DATES FROM field give me both birthdays and anniversaries.
THIS MONTH
THIS QUARTER
DEFINED RANGE, as long as it includes a current date

When I use the following settings for the DATES FROM field, I get only birthdays.
NEXT MONTH
DEFINED RANGE that does not include the current date
LAST MONTH

Another oddity that I see is when I used DEFINED RANGE and it includes the current date, it omits the anniversaries for the next month. For example, I asked for today's date (April 21) through August 31. I got a list of birthdays for that entire time and anniversaries for every month except for May.

I'm using Power Church Plus 11.55 on a MacBook Pro with OS X El Capitan version 10.11.4

Is the checkbox for Include in membership module reports checked for those families where data is 'missing'.

Are you sure there are anniversaries in March & May ?

Again, are there any anniversaries in May?
