Export notes

Hi. I have a question.

In the personal profile, there's a field called "notes" where you can type any notes. I would like to export the content of this field but it doesn't show anything. How do I export the notes?

Well, it appears that the Profile Notes are not being exported. I've tried to export the data, but it does not export. All the other note fields export, but not the large note field.

I'll get one of the techs to look at this.

I can't even included in a "custom report"

Unfortunately, all "memo" fields (the notes fields) in the PowerChurch database work that way. It isn't possible to export them to Excel or anything other than a printed report or one of the database file formats.

Sorry. I don't understand. I am able to export all notes except for this long rectangle. How do I a report which will include this. Or where's the database file formats.

I thought I was an expert with powerchurch. I guess I still have a lot to learn

You can export to an XML file, and to an Access database. Exporting to an Access database and working with it there may be easier.

I suspect that this restriction is due to the older version of Crystal Reports that has to be used with the current version of PCPlus.

The restriction is with the database field type that stores those unlimited notes. VFP cannot export that into Excel or most other file types.
