Custom Code Problem

Post by dhenderson »

i've created several custom codes for personal profiles (e.g. Income ranges like <$60,000 or <$15,000)...but when i run the "selected profiles - full details" report none of my custom codes show up as filters. also when i try to create a custom report and get these "ranges" out of the system the value returned is "unknown". help please!!!!

UPDATE:

There seems to be a bug in the DEFINED CUSTOM CODES report. Very few of the codes I set up are showing up when I run the report.

How are you setting up these codes, that is, are you entering them as shown above?? <$50000 <$60000

I just setup a special code on my test machine, and entered those numbers, with and without commas (IE: <$60000 and <$60,0000 ) and they worked fine, they appeared in the defined codes report, as well as part of the filters on the selected profiles.

If you could cut and paste what you're using for codes, and give us an idea of how you're usnig them, it may help to figure out the problem. Also, if you could mention what version of PC+ and maintenance release date, that will also help.

Using PC+ since 1999.

I resolved this by restoring from a backed up disk an overwriting the MECODES.DBF file.

Thanks. Version 9.
