Global Updating?

Post by RachelS »

Is there a way to accomplish a global update on activities? As an example, I'd like to update all children to the next grade level for the new school year.

Thanks for any help anyone can give! Blessings to ya'll!

You can use the mass update feature. The easiest way to tell you how to do this is to use the built-in help file.

In version 10, access the built-in HELP by clicking on HELP in the menu bar, or by pressing the F1 key. Under the Contents tab, open the Membership help 'book', then select the Activities & Skills section. Under that section there is a step-by-step method of doing a mass update for Sunday School grades. Note, that it is SPECIFIC about starting with the highest grade in the school, and working down to the lowest.

If you have version 9, the built-in help does have the same tutorial, accessing it however, is by pressing the Contents BUTTON instead of a tab.

Hope this helps.
