Outlook - Birthdays and anniversaries

Post by gbannun360 »

I just received the V10 upgrade and updated my Outlook contacts with my PowerChurchPlus info. I was disappointed to see that birthdays and anniversaries did not port over to Outlook. Can I make this happen, or are there plans to include this feature sometime in the future? It would be very helpful to me!

FWIW ... I suspect that having the birthday's export over would be a good addition to the wish list, (hint hint) as the birth date is a fixed field in Powerchurch. However, due to the fact that the anniversary date is a user-defined date location, it could be setup in any one of the user-defined date fields, which would entail creating a 'dynamic' extract vs. a static extract if only the birth date was moved.

I'm not saying they couldn't do it, its just that it may take them some time to get it right, and there may be other functionality that would be of use to a wider customer base.
