Neil is right. Keep in mind each individual activity is a separate number. For example 4th grade sunday school class could be assigned the activity number 1050. In database terms the activity type and department "describe" the activity. So for each activity you want to track you can add an type and department description for it. It is up to you to determine what those descriptions are.

Your example could be reworked this way:

Code: Select all

Number Description Type Department
1000 Sunday School Sunday School <None>
1010 nursery Sunday School Children
1020 Toddler Sunday School Children
1030 1st grade Sunday School Children
1040 2nd grade Sunday School Children
1050 Jr. High Sunday School Youth
1060 Sr. High Sunday School Youth

2000 Bible Studies Bible Studies
2010 College/Young Adult Bible Studies Adult
2020 Singles Bible Studies Adult
2030 Divorced Bible Studies Adult
2040 Seniors Bible Studies Adult
2050 Men's ministry Bible Studies Adult
2060 Women's ministry Bible Studies Adult

3000 Worship Service Worship Worship
3010 Worship Team Worship Team Worship
3020 women's ministry Worship Team Worship
3030 Men's ministry Worship Team Worship
Keep in mind there are no right or wrong answers here. And the above is just an example based on your prior post.

FWIW: The 1000, 2000, 3000 activities are just for titles you would not assign people directy to those activities. Certain reports look better with these activities. For example, any activity ending with a "00" are shown in bold on the activity/skill descriptions report.
