Quickly add groups to activities

I was wondering if there was a faster way than Maintaining Activity Descriptions to add a large group of individuals to an activity? We have over 2000 people in our database, and want to add approximately 1100 to an activity all with specific personal codes. It would be nice if power church had an option to say "add all people with a personal code of XYZ to activity #1234"

I would be comfortable doing this as a database command if possible.

Try this, go to Membership at the top of the screen, down to Activities and Skills, Mass Update Activities and Skills. Select Add. On this screen, select your activity and click on Add Selected profiles to this activity. Click OK. This next screen allows you to select by Personal Status and other dates and codes from the personal profiles.

You can leave it as broad or as narrow as you have set up your personal profiles. If the profiles meet the criteria you have selected, they automatically get added to the activity you selected.
