Mass Profile Change

Hi! Can anyone tell me if there is a way to do a mass profile change? I would like to be able to do this both on the Family Mailing List and on the Individual Profiles so that they both have the same code.

This is what I want to do. If someone registered between Jan 1, 2013 - Dec 31, 2013, change their status from "Visitor" to "Visitor 2013".

I know that I can run reports on the family mailing list by registration date, but we can't do that in the individual profiles and that's the data that I need.

We were doing a mass email (which the email addresses are in the individual module), but if I pull the Visitor code it pulls everyone who has ever visited the church.

Tena ... unfortunately, there isn't such a mass change routine. You can change the code Visitor to Visitor2013, but that will change them all to that. And frankly, it can get unwieldy. What I've done in the past is if a visitor has not returned in 12 to 18 months, they get delete from the system.

That said, if you're using v11.x, (and I think this is also valid for 10.4 but don't quote me), if you only want to send one email per household, you can do that from the Mailing List profile as the email routine will go to personal profile to find a valid email address if there's not one on the Mailing List profile. There is one caveat, the email address must have the 'Bulk Email' checkbox checked.
