Printer not printing all pages in a Report

Post by dcc »

I am using Windows 8.1 and Power Church 11.1 and am printing over the network to a Sharp Printer/Copier.

I tried printing a Consecutive Absence report last week. The report was 19 pages long. The first seven pages printed, and then the printer stopped. I resent pages 8 thru 14, and it printed. Since that worked, I resent pages 15-19, but they wouldn't print. Below is the Error message I received.

Error 1429: Method: Report_Print; Line 44
Message: OLE 1 Dispatch exception code 0 from Crystal Reports Active X Designer.

(I've had trouble printing all pages of a few other reports since I started using Windows 8.1.)

Thank you for your help,
Myra

Are you printing from the Powerchurch 'Server' computer, or are you on a 'client' ?? This sounds like a network timeout issue for some reason.

I am sending the report as a "client."

Have you tried printing the report directly from the server? What happens then?
