Brother QL-700 Label Printer Problem

Post by mafmctr »

I'm trying to setup a Brother QL-700 Label Printer to print directly from PCPlus. I setup a Custom Label to match the size of the label in the printer but have run into a couple of issues. First, only one label prints even though I have tagged a couple profiles (I'm selecting "Tagged" on the Selection Criteria window. Second, I have to change the printer settings in the printer dialog every time to "Landscape". "Landscape" is the default for this printer in Windows but PCPlus seems to change it to portrait. Anyone had experience using this label printer?

I'm not sure that PCPlus can use a label printer, even though you have a custom size setup. At one time I believe there was a setting for tractor-feed labels, but I think that was taken out of v11. I'm assuming that PCPlus is always setup to use a standard sheet of Avery type labels, thus the reason it's setup to print using portrait.

My advice on this, is to call Powerchurch directly as this is something that may not be easily fixed via the forum.
