delete attendance for one date

Post by Misty »

When posting attendance for our youth Wednesday evening service, the wrong date was entered. Later, thinking that it hadn't been done at all, it was reposted using the correct date. Now, our numbers are off. As this is a large group, rather than going to 100 different profiles to delete the incorrect date's attendance, is there a way to delete just one date's attendance for just one activity? Would this be possible using the delete old attendance data option, being very careful to choose just one day and just one activity number? I wanted to ask before I even attempted to look for fear I'd really mess things up.

First off, do a backup so if something does go wrong, you can easily recover. I'm also going to assume you're using V11.x.

Go to the Attendance menu and select Setup -> Delete Old Data. The window that pops up will allow you to select the Activity, and the date(s) you want to delete. Since you have only one date & one activity, use that Activity Number and date in both appropriate boxes.
