Label Selection Options
I have used power church for 10 years now. I just recently up-graded to running Windows 8.1 (64 bit). The installation went fine and importing the data base was flawless however I have lost the ability to select labels. I can no longer see the check boxes to deselect deceased, or visitor, or transferred from my mailing. I can only print all the labels which is not helpful. Any suggestions? Thanks! Susan

What version of Powerchurch ?? Versions 10.5 and up have been tested with Win8 without an issue. Are you running on a 'client' or are you on the main database computer? Versions lower than 10, are no longer maintained, and may not work with Windows Vista/7/8.St. Marks Lutheran wrote:I have used power church for 10 years now. If you are on a client, you may have to run the Netsetupxxx.exe program to install some files.
If we had more info, we could be of more assistance.

We are using 10.4 and running 8.1. Looks like we need to upgrade! Thanks for the response! God bless, Susan

I meant 10.4, but it is no longer being supported. That said, it should work under Win8.1.
Did you reinstall the program, or did you just do a Operating System upgrade? In either case, find the Netsetup10.exe program in the \Powerchurch\PCPLUS10 folder. I believe it should be directly under that folder along with the main program.
Double click on that program to have it reinstall some of the required 'runtime' support files. If it doesn't work, then I would see about upgrading to 11.55. Even if it does work, I'd consider the upgrade, as issues such as printing W2/W3s and such will no longer be addressed in the programs versions before v11.
