Is there a summary report that shows me the numbers of members by category like number of active members, inactive members,.

1) I am looking for a summary report that count the number of active and inactive members (grouped by personal status). Not detail.

2) Is there a report on the contribution module that also gives me a list of active members with their contribution amount for range of period?

1. I don't believe that there is a standard report that will give you that.
2. Again, there is no standard report that will give you that.

The reason for 1 & 2 is that many churches maintain their 'inactive' and 'active' members using a separate personal status code. However, you could create a Custom Report that would add in any special filters you use to highlight active & inactive members.

Thanks for the reply. We also use a separate personal status code. I was just looking for a summary report that shows how many members are active, inactive using the personal status code category. All reports give me individual detail.

In that case ... check under the Personal Profile Reports .. Profiles Count by Status Code.
