How do you remove a married child from the family membership? I am using version 9.

The child of one of our families married the child of another of our families so I need to move these to children to a new family unit and remove them from there parents family unit.

Very simple:

1. Open PCP, from the Membership Menu open Integrated Data Entry.
2. If you have the use Add Family Wizard checked, remove the check. Then click the ADD button to add a new family record. Enter the data on the newlyweds here: Address, phone, etc. Then save that data.
3. Locate the grooms family in the database, then head to the Personal Profiles tab. Highlight the groom's name, and click the MOVE button. You will then get a location list to select from, find the new Family Mailing List record you created in step 2, select it and click the OK button.
4. Do the same for the bride. Then change the last name of the bride's personal profile as needed.

You're done.
