Creating an Email CSV File

Post by brentbond »

I am running version 11.1. How do I create a CSV export file of email addresses from FAMILY using Mailing Category as a delimiter? I am trying to export a specific Mailing Category of users to put in a Gmail contact list.

Membership -> Family Mailing List -> Other Output -> Create Mail Merge FIle

The system will ask for the filters you want to use. I'm not sure how it would map to GMail's address book, but this will pull the data for you.

The problem I have with that method is that we built our database 8 years ago. This was before PC+ had a Family Email field in Family Mailing List. Because of that, all of our email addresses are in Personal Profiles. Doing it through your suggestion does not grab the email address because they aren't seen in Family Mailing List.

Try going in from Personal Profiles, you'll have access to both the Mailing List and Personal Profiles email entries.
