I am using Power Church version 11 with Windows 10.

I like the Church Directory report layout and format, but I would like to alter it slightly. Is it possible to clone the standard Church Directory to produce a new Custom Report with that layout and format, so that I can edit it?

I have not seen a way to edit the Church Directory layout directly, so if there is a way to do that, it would be even better.

Unfortunately, these are standard reports, and cannot be changed or adjusted. What are you trying to do?

Yes, I went there and tried that before I posted. It is pretty complex and considerable work to make it look really good.

Many software programs give you a way to take a standard report and clone it to your custom report space. Then you can edit it in your custom space as if it was a custom report. That doesn't affect the standard report, but gives you the flexibility to make the adjustments you want for your own purposes.

I want to add some fields to the standard church report layout, and can't see a way to do that.

I do realize I can start from scratch, and duplicate every field and format of the standard church directory. But that is really a lot of work. If I could start from the standard report layout, the work would be considerably simplified.

Unfortunately, those other software programs have hundreds of programmers to enable a built-in report writer that can easily be customized. However, Powerchurch uses a third-party report writer that does not allow this to be done.
