Create a New Deacon from Exisiting Member

I am new to powerchurch and can't seem to take an existing member and assign him as a deacon. Help!

Um ... every church does things differently.
Some use the
Activity and Skills Module's
Maintain Offices Served function. If you're using that, it is a very simple process to add someone to the deacon's or church board, etc.
However, not knowing how you maintain your list of deacon's its hard to give you any assistance. Could you let us know how your congregation maintains its officer lists?

That way is obviously not how we do it, I checked those areas and there was no "Deacon" activity on our existing deacons. I am sorry. But, we have no clue. Do you know another way that we might be entering the information.
