I have many instances of a household which contains just one person. E.g. the John Smith household only contains the one person, John Smith. My question is : Where do I enter his email address.
(1) only on the Contacts tab of the Household screen, or
(2) only on the Contacts tab of the Personal Profile screen, or
(3) in both places.
Which choice is best, and why? Does it matter?

You can choose either or both.

If I remember thelogic, when sending out a mass email, the system will look for an email on the Mailing List profile that has the mass email checkbox checked first, if none is found there, it will go to the first personal profile to see if there's one there, again looking for the mass email checkbox.

If you're sending out to a group, it will check the Personal Profile first, then go to the Mailing List profile to see if there's one there.

IMHO .. if you have one person in the family, put it on the Mailing List Profile.
