Updating multiple memberships

We had 8 people join the church in one day. Is there a way to update their membership statuses to "member" from "non-member" all at once rather than selecting and updating each one individually? Looking for something similar to mass updating activities profiles. Many thanks.

Unfortunately, no.

The reason is that along with updating the statuses in both the Mailing Record profile and Personal Profile, you may need to also update other things, take them out of an activity you may use for 'follow up' , add a contribution envelope number to track contributions, etc.

It may seem like a lot of work, but in actuality, it allows you to look over the profiles to see if there's any information missing such as dates (birth, baptism, anniversary) for themselves or their family members, add them to activities for attendance that you may not have had them in, and so on.
