Activity Reports - not sorting by last name

Post by NeilZ »

I'm running some reports for VBS, and I'm finding that the reports cannot be sorted by the last name.

Specifically:

Address & Phone Directories
Class List with Birth Dates

It seems to be sorting by Personal Status Code, as those that have congregation related statuses go first, and visitors afterward, but not alphabetically, as would be desired in some (most?) cases.

I can't recreate this issue locally. Those reports default to alphabetical order and don't allow a different sort option.

Does reindexing fix it?

Unfortunately, no. I can send you examples and backup if necessary .. I was hoping it was something I wasn't doing, since I haven't seen anyone else with this issue. :(

UPDATE ... disregard last reply ... I was interrupted and thought the reindex was completed, but it didn't complete. I'm doing it again.

OK ... the reindex fixed it.

I should have tried that first, I usually suggest it often enought :)
