We recently upgraded to the version 12 10/16/2019 and have noticed a problem with the Attendance Fast Data Entry form. When updating the 10/27/19 worship attendance, the status change to "Present" did not "stick" for a handful of people. The status does changes on the form but when you exit and reopen the form, the status is still set to "Absent". We've tried to make the change several times. Also have reindexed the database files...no success. We can get the status change to persist using the Maintain Personal Profiles form. This is the first time this has been an issue and we have been entering weekly attendance data for many years. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

When you click on the 'done' button, do you get the 'do you want to save' pop up window? What version did you upgrade from?

We updated from the previous maintenance release. We stay up to date with the current release.

No "do you want to save" popup. We only get that when initially adding attendance for a new date. When editing existing data, we do not get the save popup.

OK .. so you installed the latest MR, which also updated you to version 12.2. I just added attendance here, and am not see that issue.
I clicked on DONE and got the 'do you wish to save' pop up.

If you're not getting that when you click on DONE, there's a bigger problem. I'm going to flag this for the techs to take a quick look at.

To clarify...the issue seems to present itself when using the Fast Data Entry form to EDIT existing attendance data. There is no "Save" confirmation popup when editing...this behavior is consistent with previous versions. There is a popup BEFORE you enter edit mode confirming that you want to make changes to the data for that date. The problem is that changes made in edit mode are not committed to the database.

Aha ... that' changes the situation a bit. I read 'updating' as entering data to update the attendance database.

We've got a developer working on this at the moment.

The tricky thing is changes to some people would save and others not, so it was very difficult to track down, but they've got it figured out and the fix will be in the next Maintenance Release.
