Date Field

Is there a way to have a system date field on the Family & Personal Screen? I want to have a field labeled "updated". Have the system date automatically put in a date when I open that record and save with the record until I have to edit it again.
Any help?

Judy there's already one on the mailing list tab two, but this has been talked about for the personal profiles. I think one of the problems is what we used to call 'screen real estate'. Where do you find a space to put it.
Then again, do you want to add something that may not be needed (or wanted) by alot of users. I agree, I'd like to have an 'update' date somewhere, however, what I'd rather have is an update log, showing date/time, who and what record was updated.

Actually, this already happens "behind the scenes." If you notice, in many of the Family Mailing List reports, there's a field for "Records Updated From:" in the selection criteria. You can then run a report based on the last updated date. It doesn't actually display anywhere though.

Then what does the last updated date show on the mailing list tab ?
I'm so confused.

Oh, uh, that's something different, but just happens to be exactly the same.

DOH ... !!
Understand why ... I always insures that a creation and update timestamp were built into the tables for DB2 for this purpose !
