Still having problems with email lists.

Thanks you for all your help in the past.

I have a new problem. I was asked to create three lists.

The Church Directory. Can use the programs Church Directory.
The Church Women's Email List . Can use the Email Directory w Gender = F and Adult = Y.
Then an Email List for the monthly newsletter. Here's the problem.

For all members (Families) who only have one email address.
I have put their email in the "Family Email" field on Integrated Form.
And no emails on the member's personal profile forms.

Problem.
When I run the Email Directory I get duplicate emails for every
"Family" with only one email.

My work around is to export to Excel and make corrections.
I would like for the church secretary to be able to do this task.
However the export to Excel might not work for her at the tech
she's at.

What am I doing wrong?

By duplicate, do you mean one for each member of the family? Unfortunately, that's the way the directory works. Each person who falls into the personal profile category you selected will show an email.

So if John and Jane Doe only have one email address, johndoe@myplace.com, they will appear twice with the same email address. After all, if you're looking for Jane Doe's email and only John's email, Johndoe@myplace.com is listed it may not be apparent that they use the same email address.

However, if you'd like to see an option added to only reflect one email for both in some way, you could request it via the 'wishlist@powerchurch.com' wishlist email address. Please explain how you think it should work, how it should appear on the report, and explain how it would be useful for other churches.
