Selected Activities/Skills Report
When I try to print out this report sorted by skill number for a range of skills, it lists the same person and skill with some of the other skills listed for that person and then sometimes with just the one skill. The person's name is always the heading and the skills are listed underneath. What I'm looking for is to get a report that puts all of the people with skill #1 together with their phone numbers and then all of the people with skill #2 together, etc. What I'm getting now is a jumbled and confused list. The list prints out correctly when I tell it to sort alphabetically by last name. I've tried reindexing. Any other ideas on what's going wrong?

Its not designed to be printed that way. If you want a list of skill 1 then skill 2, you'll need to run the report twice.

The Address & Phone Directories report does work better.
My only other question is whether there is a report where I could select non-sequential skills and get a list of names with all of the selected skills. What we're trying to do is enter the results from the Willow Creek Networking course into our database and hopefully in the future be able to look up potential volunteers/leaders based on the info in the database. I've set up all of the spiritual gifts, styles, passions in the database, now we just need useful ways of getting the info back out again.
Thanks for all the wise advice.

If you specify can create an activity type or department for them, you could then select them non-sequentially. For example if you add a skill type of "Sunday School" you can leave the range of skill number as 0 to 9999 and use the type option to select only the sunday school activities.
In your example you could specify a group as a spiritual gift type and put everyone in it with that particular spiritual gift. You then don't necessarily have to worry about the activity range, just select spiritual gisfts groups on the selection.
I hope this makes sense.
