Change Attendance code

Can anyone suggest a way to batch change the attendance entries? I have recently been tasked with providing more detailed attendance data from PowerChurch. Up until this point, ALL worship attendance was entered under the activity code of 1000. Since this is actually used as a heading number, what I would like to do is change EVERY entry for EVERY date to a new code (1199) while maintaining all other info for each entry (date, status, etc.).
If I use batch update, all I get is a single entry in each person's profile for the new code, but all the entries previously entered under attendance remain with the old 1000 number code. Anyone have any ideas (short of manually changing every individual entry for every person (a daunting task!)?

Do a backup first !!

1. Change those 'new code' entries back to 1000.
2. Under Activities & Skills, open Maintain Description
3. Find activity 1199 - delete it.
4. Find activity 1000
5. Change the 1000 to 1199, this will change ALL instances of 1000 to 1199.
6 Add a new 1000 entry as your header.

Hope this helps.
