Picture Resolution

Post by TimFulton »

Recently, we noticed that uploaded pictures appear very grainy. When viewing the original photo via Paint, Windows Explorer or Photoshop, the pictures look perfect. Why the grainy For uploading pictures, what resolution, dpi, and size does PowerChurch support?

You didn't say what version of Powerchurch you're using. V12 and V14 (and I believe v11.55) have a setting under Preferences -> System Setup Options -> Picture Tab to Import/Scan Higher quality pictures. I believe that box is checked by default, which gives a resolution of 800x600, which is perfect for printing local pictorial directories.

If that is not checked, the max resolution is 255x210.
